Men's EHF Euro 2026 Handball

Danish handball fans can start looking forward to January 2026. Here, the EC in men's handball will be held in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, and the Danish national handball team will be allowed to play all its matches in Denmark. 

Herning and Jyske Bank Boxen will be the home ground for the Danish national team, when the city in central Jutland will host two preliminary groups as well as one of two intermediate rounds and the final weekend. The other matches are played in Malmö and Kristianstad in Sweden and Oslo in Norway. 

- We are very much looking forward to welcoming large parts of Europe to world-class handball in Herning. It is a special place for our national team, which on both the men's and women's sides have experienced magical moments in the Jyske Bank Boxen. A place where both players, coaches and managers feel at home and welcome. We are therefore happy and proud that we have once again been able to make a great agreement with the good people in Herning Municipality and Jyske Bank Boxen to become the Danish home ground at European Championship 2026, says chairman of DanskHåndbold Morten Stig Christensen.
