The statue "Uldjyden" by Torvald Westergaard at the Textile Museum (1956)
If you're curious about the works included in the collective art experience Kunstlandet, why not take a tour and experience some of the first works from this period when art really took off in the area.
The route starts at the Textile Museum, which is housed in former factory buildings. This is where large quantities of wool from moorland sheep was combed and transformed into underwear, socks, and other common goods for ordinary Danes. The route ends in a special residential area in Ikast, where a group of young artists let their creativity run wild.
