14 - 25 January 2025

The Jyske Bank Boxen forms the framework for the Men's Handball World Championship in 2023. The Danish handball players will play all their matches in Jyske Bank Boxen when the Men's Handball World Championship takes place in Denmark, Norway and Croatia in 2025.

There is again the prospect of a magnificent handball party in Herning, when national coach Nikolaj Jacobsen and his team will defend their triple World Cup gold in Jyske Bank Boxen in January 2025.

They know the surroundings extremely well, because in 2019 the men's handball won their first world championship in the Jyske Bank Boxen. Since then, they have made history by becoming the first nation to win the World Championship gold in men's handball three times in a row, and now the men's national team returns to Herning in search of another top result at the World Championship in 2025. A reunion national coach Nikolaj Jacobsen is looking forward to.

- We have lots of good memories from Jyske Bank Boxen. The support is always fantastic, and we are really happy that it is precisely in this setting that we set sail when we have to try to defend our World Championship gold, Nikolaj Jacobsen states.

Up to six Danish games in Jyske Bank Boxen
Denmark organizes the upcoming World Championship in men's handball together with Norway and Croatia, and in addition to Denmark's group, Jyske Bank Boxen houses another preliminary group, just as the men's handball team plays a possible intermediate round at home. This means that there will be a total of six Danish matches in Herning, while the remaining part of the championship takes place in Norway and Croatia.
