Winter Holiday at Klosterlund Museum

February 8 and 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Klosterlund Museum is closed for the winter but will open exceptionally during the winter holiday.

On Monday and Tuesday of the winter holiday, you can visit the troll workshop and create a winter troll using materials from nature. We’re gearing up for an upcoming troll visit! Starting April 1, we will host Thomas Dambo's traveling troll, Lomme Ulrik. You’ll enjoy an exciting tour of the workshops and create your troll piece by piece. Once your troll comes to life, it can pose for photos in our troll photo studio before you take it home.

If you’d like to see a real troll during the winter holiday, we recommend heading to Skallerund Lake, where a large stone troll is hiding. Using the Natureventyr app, you’ll be guided directly to the stone troll while hearing an exciting story along the way. At the museum, we’ll gladly help you get started with Natureventyr, and you can warm up with hot cocoa and other treats from the museum café after your forest adventure.

The museum’s exhibitions are open throughout the holiday, and smaller troll-themed activities are available every day (except Friday).
