Masks, Felt, and Pom-Pom Animals
February 10–14, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Bring the family to the Textile Museum and create carnival masks, felt sheep, and pom-pom animals in our workshop.
We’ll be making carnival masks out of felt, as well as felt sheep that can be hung up as decorations for Carnival and Easter. Templates and felt are provided at the museum, and the wool comes from the old Herning Cloth Factory, where the Textile Museum is located. There’s also an opportunity to make pom-pom animals like hedgehogs, mice, and chicks.
The Textile Museum is open all week during the winter holiday – including Monday. The workshop activities take place from Monday to Friday.
The whole family can also enjoy carnival buns in the café, play in the Children's Factory, and explore the museum’s exhibitions.
