Herning Opera Festival 2024

Herning Opera Festival is an opera festival for all ages, all types, all kinds of ears, all music lovers – both opera connoisseurs and opera novices.
The aim is to present opera as the audience has never experienced it before. The opera is taken out of the concert halls and let it sound and reverberate in new places and in new ways west of the Jutland ridge.
Many of the country's great opera singers travel here to sing at the opera festival - and for several of them, it is even a return trip. For many years, Herning has been a very important focal point for the development of singing in Denmark, and several of the festival's singers were born and raised in the Herning area.
What all the participating artists have in common is that they are fabulous singers and that they have all happily agreed to sing at the Herning Opera Festival.
